Jaxson Rohman of Fairmont/Martin County West has committed to wrestling for Augustana University following his upcoming senior season.
Rohman is a five-time state placewinner and three-time finalist, winning the 113-pound Class AA title in 2018 as a freshman. He was runner-up at 120 pounds as a sophomore and at 106 pounds as an eighth-grader. Rohman placed third at 126 pounds as a junior and sixth at 106 pounds as a seventh-grader. He is a four-time Redwood River Riot Tournament champion and his current career record is 227-18, including 91 pins.
Rohman is No. 6 on The Guillotine’s latest Pound-For-Pound Class of 2021 Rankings.
He is projected to wrestle at 125 or 133 pounds for the Vikings.
