Mankato, Minn. — A trio of Minnesota State wrestlers have been named Northern Sun Intercollegiate All-Conference for their performances over the course of the 2020-21 season.
Kyle Rathman, a senior who stands 6-0 on the season and is currently rated #2 in the country at 149, was named All-NSIC First Team. Rathman, a native of Apple Valley, Minn., was a second team selection last year.
Trevor Turriff, a junior from De Pere, Wis., who owns a 6-0 record on the season and is rated #2 in the nation at 174, was named All-NSIC First Team.
Trenton McManus, who hails from Adams, Wis., stands 5-1 for 2020-21 and is rated eighth at 125. McManus, a senior, was named All-NSIC Second Team.
The Mavericks, rated #11 going into the postseason after posting a 5-1 regular-season record, are back in action this Saturday at the NCAA Super Region V Tournament, hosted by Northern State in Aberdeen, S.D.
