ST. CLOUD, MINN. – The St. Cloud State University wrestling team has plenty to celebrate after the 2020-21 season. The Huskies won their third consecutive national championship back in March and saw a handful of student-athletes honored at the conference, regional and national levels for their performances throughout the year. With so much to recognize and celebrate, St. Cloud State will host its annual banquet for the team on Friday, April 30 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
The Annual Team Awards Banquet will recognize the accomplishments of the Huskies wrestlers and teams throughout the 2020-21 season before looking ahead to 2021-22. The event will start with a social at Legends Bar in the Holiday Inn at 5 p.m. and dinner will start promptly at 6:25 p.m. After dinner, there will be a season highlight video along with the award presentations and speeches from the St. Cloud State wrestling seniors.
Due to COVID-19 protocols, only two guests per student-athlete will be allowed and an additional 60 individuals will be allowed to attend on a first come, first serve basis. RSVPs must be returned to head coach Steve Costanzo by Thursday, April 29. The cost to attend the banquet is $40 per person, which includes a meal. Checks should be made out to SCSU Wrestling.
