Mason Iverson and Brandon Zuniga of Thief River Falls have signed Letters of Intent to continue their wrestling careers at Northland Community and Technical College next season.
Iverson is a two-time state qualifier. He was the Class AA 195-pound fourth-place finisher in 2021 and was a state entrant for the Prowlers at 195 pounds as a junior. Iverson finished his high school career with a 130-57 record, including 84 pins.
Zuniga was a 2021 Class AA 170-pound State Prelim fourth-place finisher for the Prowlers. He finished his high school career with a 92-55 record, including 51 pins.
Iverson is projected to wrestle at 184 or 197 pounds and Zuniga is projected to wrestle at 157 or 165 pounds for the Pioneers.
