Pedro Velazquez of Chaska/Chanhassen has committed to wrestling for North Dakota State University next season.
Velazquez is a four-time state qualifier. He was the Class AAA 145-pound fourth-place finisher in 2021 as a senior. As a sophomore, Velazquez placed fifth at 132 pounds.
Velazquez is projected to wrestle at 157 or 165 pounds for the Bison.
