Jore Volk of Lakeville North has committed to wrestling for University of Wyoming following his upcoming senior season.
Volk is a three-time state finalist and a two-time state champion. He won the Class AAA 120-pound title in 2021 as a junior and the 106-pound title in 2020. He was runner-up at 106 pounds as a freshman. Volk was a USA Wrestling Cadet National Champion in freestyle and Greco in 2019 and placed fourth at 113 pounds at the prestigious Super 32 Tournament in October.
Volk is projected to wrestle at 125 or 133 pounds for the Cowboys.
