OSLO, Norway: Three of the four U.S. women freestyle wrestlers in Group Two have qualified for the semifinals at the Senior World Championships on Tuesday.
Advancing to the semifinals are 2020 Olympic silver medalist and five-time World champion Adeline Gray at 76 kg, 2020 Olympic bronze medalist and 2018 World silver medalist Sarah Hildebrandt at 50 kg and three-time Senior World Team member Forrest Molinari at 65 kg
Gray, the No. 1 seed, opened with a pair of first-period pins. In her opener, Gray pinned two-time European U23 silver medalist Aysegul Ozbege of Turkey in 1:17. In the quarterfinals, Gray put away Kiran of India in 2:33. Continue reading at teamusa.org →
