Practice Underway for MSUM Wrestling

MOORHEAD, Minn. – Practice got underway this week for the Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling team.

MSUM is entering its 13th season under the direction of Head Coach Kris Nelson. The 2020-21 campaign was shortened because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Senior Braydon Ortloff, a national qualifier in 2019-20, is back after going 4-3 a year ago. Freshman Gage Roaldson (174 pounds) also returns after going 6-3 last season. Senior Mason Schulz has a career record of 46-40 at 141 pounds.

MSUM opens the 2021-22 regular season at the Finn Grinaker Invitational at Concordia College on Nov. 6.
