Rochester Community and Technical College Has High Expectations For 2022

The list of superlatives describing the 2021-2022 Rochester Community and Technical College wrestling team is long.
And rightfully so, after all, the Yellowjackets are the defending NJCAA non-scholarship national champions. They return six starters, two All-Americans, and have a roster of nearly 30 wrestlers. Add in several hungry and talented freshmen looking to push returning wrestlers, some talented transfers with DI experience, and you understand why first-year head coach Andrew Hackenmueller has set such high expectations.
"I truly believe we have the potential to earn All-American honors at every weight class," said Hackenmueller. "That is a bold statement, and we have a long way to go, but the potential is there."
