Alan Koehler of Prior Lake has committed to wrestling for the University of Nebraska in 2023.
Koehler won the Class AAA 106-pound title in his first state tournament appearance in 2021 as a sophomore.
Koehler was a USA Wrestling double All-American in Fargo this past summer placing third in both freestyle and Greco at 113 pounds. Most recently he placed seventh at 113 pounds at the prestigious Super 32 Tournament.
Koehler is No. 8 on The Guillotine’s latest Pound-For-Pound Class of 2023 Rankings.
He is projected to wrestle at 125 pounds for the Cornhuskers.
