Zach Hanson of Lakeville North has committed to wrestling for Stanford University in 2023.
Hanson is a three-time state qualifier and two-time finalist. He was runner-up at 132 pounds in 2021 as a sophomore and at 113 pounds as a freshman.
Hanson was a double national champion in Fargo this past summer winning 16U titles at 132 pounds in both freestyle and Greco-Roman.
He is projected to wrestle at 141 or 149 pounds for the Cardinals.
