MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons are set for their first wrestling dual of the season against Concordia College. The dual is at Concordia and begins at 7 p.m on Wednesday at Memorial Auditorium.
The Dragons’ last competition was the Bison Open last week with a limited number of wrestlers competing attached. Senior Steven Abbott led the way for the Dragons, going 2-2 at 197 pounds. Sophomore Samuel Grove was 2-2 at 285 as well.
Freshman Clayson Mele went 1-2 at 125 and Junior Ethan Kiehm went 1-2 at 145. Sophomore Peyton Ringling was 0-2 at 157. Junior Jake Erckenbrack was 0-2 at 197.
Kris Nelson is in his 13th year as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

About Concordia
The Cobbers are 0-1 to start their dual season after losing to Northern State last week. Senior Jacob Prunty was 1-0 at 141 pounds and Freshman Ty Bisek was 1-0 at 125 pounds. Quincy Osborn is in his third season as head coach at Concordia State University.
