MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling team opens Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action on Thursday at the University of Mary. The dual begins at 7 p.m. in Bismarck, N.D.
MSUM is 0-1 in duals while UMary is 1-0.
MSUM is coming off of the Dragon Open on Sunday. Seniors Braydon Ortloff (165) and Justin Dravis (174) were runners-up in their classes in the Red Division while freshman Gage Roaldson won the title at 184 in the White Division.
Declan Malone is 6-1 at 149 pounds for MSUM while Ortloff is 2-1 and Dravis is 3-2. Sophomore Samuel Grove is 7-6 at 285 po8nds.
Kris Nelson is in his 13th season as the MSUM head coach.
About UMary
Mary beat Concordia, 41-0 in a nonconference dual earlier this month. Matt Kaylor is 12-3 at 197 pounds for UMary while Braydon Huber and Max Bruss each have 11-4 marks for the Marauders. Adam Aho is in his ninth season as the UMary head coach.
