It’s a winner-take-all dual for the NSIC Championship
SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–Augustana wrestling will host the No.2 St. Cloud State Huskies on Thursday at the Elmen Center. The dual will begin at 7 p.m. and is Senior Night for the Vikings. Eight seniors will be honored for their commitment to the Augustana Wrestling program. In addition, both squads enter the regular-season finale holding undefeated marks in the NSIC in a true winner-take-all showdown.

The Huskies
St. Cloud State is ranked at No. 2 in the nation with nine nationally-ranked wrestlers on the roster. Paxton Creese is nationally ranked at No. 7 at 125 pounds, No. 3 Garrett Voss at 133 pounds, No. 1 Joey Bianchini at 141 pounds, No. 2 Colby Njos at 157 pounds, No. 12 Devin Donovan at 165 pounds, No. 5 Dominic Murphy at 174 pounds, No. 7 Billy Pitzner at 184 pounds, No. 2 Noah Ryan at 197 pounds and No. 2 Kameron Teacher at 285 pounds.
The Huskies are coming off of their third-straight national championship and have won five of the past six national titles.
The Vikings
No. 10 Augustana is hosting its last dual of the regular season on Thursday night. The dual will also be Senior Night, where the Vikings plan to honor eight of their seniors: Daniel Bishop, Brandon Carroll, Brayden Curry, Luke Dahlen, Sam Detert, Noah North, Dylan Schuck and Jackson Sweeney.
Coming off of a big dual victory over No. 8 Parkside, the Vikings are looking to claim the conference title with a victory over No. 2 St. Cloud State. Augustana remains undefeated in dual action and stays at the top of the NSIC.
Five wrestlers saw victories on Saturday against Parkside, but it was junior Jack Huffman pinning his opponent at 133 pounds that earned the Vikings six points in the dual.
Augustana has five nationally-ranked wrestlers on its roster.
Jaxson Rohman, competing at 125 pounds, holds a spot at No. 4 in the latest individual rankings. Rohman holds a record of 12-3 on the season. In the central region rankings, Rohman is ranked at No. 2.
Jack Huffman is ranked at No. 6 at 133 pounds for the Vikings. Huffman defeated Joey Roti from Parkside on Saturday with a fall at 1:12. The pin was Huffman’s fifth of the season. Regionally, Huffman is ranked at No. 3.
In the seventh spot at 174 pounds is Cade Mueller. Mueller holds an overall record of 15-2 after defeating No. 6 Job Ayala of UWP. Mueller is regionally ranked at four.
Kolby Kost, competing at 184 pounds, comes in at the 12th spot in the national rankings. Kost holds a 17-7 overall record and his regional ranking sees him in the fourth spot.
At 285 pounds, Steven Hajas is ranked at No. 8. Hajas defeated Nate Lloyd of Parkside on Saturday. He also holds the second spot in the central region rankings.
Five wrestlers are regionally ranked for Augustana with No. 4 Brandon Carroll at 141 pounds, No. 5 Keaten Schorr at 149 pounds, No. 5 Tyler Wagener at 157 pounds, No. 4 Miles Fitzgerald at 165 pounds, and No. 5 Daniel Bishop at 197 pounds.
