SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–Augustana wrestling landed five members to the All-NSIC teams, announced Wednesday morning by the league office. Redshirt freshman Cade Mueller sees a spot on the All-NSIC First Team and four Vikings earned Second Team All-Conference honors: redshirt sophomore Jack Huffman, redshirt sophomore Hunter Burnett, redshirt freshman Miles Fitzgerald and senior Daniel Bishop.
Cade Mueller – 174 pounds
Mueller, hailing from Waconia, Minnesota, finds a spot on the All-NSIC First Team in 2021-22 after earning Second Team All-NSIC honors last season. Holding an 8-2 dual record this season, Mueller has logged three wins by fall, one tech fall and four major decisions.
Mueller recorded a win over a Division I opponent in 2021-22. The first-team selection is Mueller’s first of his career after earning All-NSIC Second Team honors last season. Mueller is nationally ranked at No. 2.
Jack Huffman – 133 pounds
Huffman, from Omaha, Nebraska, earns Second Team All-Conference honors for the first time in his collegiate career. Huffman holds a 14-1 overall record and a dual record of 8-1. Leading the team in dual points this season, Huffman has recorded five falls, one tech fall and two major decisions.
Starting off the 2021-22 season, Huffman defeated two Division I opponents from South Dakota State and North Dakota State. Huffman has gone undefeated in dual action since December 4. He is nationally ranked at No. 5.
Hunter Burnett – 149 pounds
Burnett, of Pipestone, Minnesota, sees his third-straight year on the All-NSIC Second Team. Since making his dual debut against MSU Moorhead this season on January 29, Burnett has gone 5-0 against his opponents and logged three major decision victories.
Burnett holds a record of 7-2 overall this season.
Miles Fitzgerald – 165 pounds
Fitzgerald, from Dunnell, Minnesota, finds himself garnering all-conference honors for the first time in his career. The redshirt freshman leads the Vikings in overall wins this season with 18 and has a dual record of 8-3. Holding the spot at 165 pounds, Fitzgerald has recorded three falls, three tech falls and one major decision.
Fitzgerald holds a win over a ranked opponent in No. 12 Devin Donovan of St. Cloud State.
Daniel Bishop – 197 pounds
Bishop, hailing from Hinton, Iowa, joins Fitzgerald as a first-time all-conference honoree in 2021-22. The senior holds a 6-5 dual record this season and has logged one fall, 10 tech falls and two major decisions.
Bishop is nationally ranked at No. 8 for Augustana. He holds the Viking wrestling school record for tech falls with 33, having broken the record at 23 last season.

About The Selections
The all-conference teams were selected by the league coaches with the top point receivers at each weight class being named first team and the second being named to the second team. The coaches shall vote for Coach of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Wrestler of the Year on a separate ballot following the conclusion of the national championships.
