About the Greg Schwartz Wrestling Camp: Greg Schwartz was a 1991 graduate of Paynesville High School where he won a state title for the Bulldogs. Greg’s stepfather is long-time Paynesville Head Coach Virg Vagle. Greg also wrestled at the University of Minnesota Morris for one year and was an NAIA National qualifier in 1992. Greg passed away 30 years ago in June in a car accident. He was recruited to UMM by Spencer Yohe (Camp Co-Director). The camp has awarded a total of $15,000 to Paynesville Area High School graduating seniors. A number of other wrestlers from the Morris Area over the years have also received scholarships.
