Michael Olson of Albert Lea Area has committed to wrestling for North Dakota State University in 2024.
Olson, in his first state tournament appearance, won the Class AA 106-pound title in 2022 as a sophomore.
He was a USA Wrestling Junior Freestyle All-American in 2022 placing fourth. Olson was a 16U Freestyle All-American in 2021 placing fifth.
He is No. 13 on The Guillotine’s latest Pound-For-Pound Class of 2024 Rankings.
Olson is projected to wrestle at 125 pounds for the Bison.
