LA CROSSE, Wis. — The No. 5-ranked Augsburg University women’s wrestling team suffered a 34-9 defeat at the hands of top-ranked North Central University (Ill.) on Saturday afternoon at the La Crosse Area Wrestling Academy.

Top-ranked 155-pounder Marlynne Deede (SR, Springville, Utah/Springville HS) improved to 11-0 on the season with a 10-4 victory over Tiera Jimerson, building a 6-0 lead after one period and countering Jimerson twice in the second period. Deede is now 57-18 in her collegiate career.
