Lucas Hodges picked up the sole victory for the Mustangs, defeating Payton Anderson by a 4-2 decision at 165 pounds.

“Although the score doesn’t reflect it, this team showed heart, passion, and tenacity.” Said second-year SMSU head coach Chayse Jackson. “Against another top 15 program, we showed up and had great individual matches. The crowd was involved, the bench was rowdy, and the matches were close. Hats off to those who came to support us on our game of the year. It’s time to reset, regroup, and get after it next week in preparation for our final home duals of the year”
