SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–The No. 14 Augustana Viking wrestling team hosts the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers on Friday night at the Elmen Center for Youth Wrestling/Vikings Kids Club night. On Sunday, AU is back in action in Marshall, Minnesota, for an NSIC matchup against the No. 22 Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs.

The Tigers
Dakota Wesleyan is an NAIA school and competes in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. The Tigers hold an overall record of 2-3 on the season with wins over Hastings and Jamestown. DWU has also competed in five tournaments this season.
The Mustangs
Southwest Minnesota State holds a spot at No. 22 in the latest NWCA Coaches Poll. The Mustangs have two nationally-ranked wrestlers on their roster with Caden Steffen ranked second at 184 pounds and Jacob Dykes ranked 11th at 285 pounds.
SMSU is 1-4 in NSIC contests with a win against MSU Moorhead. In their most recent matchup, the Mustangs fell to Upper Iowa and Parkside in conference action.
The Vikings
Augustana is nationally ranked at No. 14 in the latest NWCA Top-25 poll. Six Vikings are individually ranked: Jaxson Rohman (No. 8 at 125 pounds), Jack Huffman (No. 12 at 133 pounds), Miles Fitzgerald (No. 10 at 157 pounds), Tyler Wagener (No. 6 at 165 pounds), Kolby Kost (No. 7 at 174 pounds) and Cade Mueller (No. 10 at 184 pounds)..
AU holds a record of 6-9 overall and 2-3 in conference action. The Vikings fell to Upper Iowa and Parkside last weekend in NSIC duals. Augustana defeated Minot State at the Elmen Center in its last home dual on January 12.
