ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Wrestling will host High School and Youth Technique Camps on June 19-21 for grades K-2, 3-6 and 7-12 at Halenbeck Hall. The Huskies Wrestling Camps will educate and drill wrestlers in all aspects of the sport, including takedowns, defense and counter-attacks, top and bottom positions, in addition to camp games and live wrestling incorporated steadily throughout the camp to enhance the participant experience.
Registration – due Friday, June 16.
The Youth Camp will be split into two sections with grades K-2 from 9:00 a.m. to noon and grades 3-6 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Both camps typically feature warmups, technique work, a game and live wrestling with a fee of $100 for all three days.
The High School Camp is for grades 7-12 and runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A typical day will feature a warmup, technique work and drilling followed by live wrestling with a fee of $75 for all three days.
Each camp is led by members of the St. Cloud State Wrestling coaching staff. The five-time NCAA DII National Champion Huskies earned another NWCA National Dual Championship in 2023 and took third at the 2023 NCAA Championships.
