Cobbers Loaded with In-State Talent

Staying Healthy Key to Success for Concordia

By Matt Krumrie

When one thinks about Concordia Cobbers wrestling, words like consistent, committed, and determined come to mind.

The team is always consistent in their training and performance. They are committed to excellence on and off the mat. And they are determined to go hard for an entire match, leaving it all out on the mat.

That formula has worked well for head coach Quincy Osborn, now in his eighth year as head coach of the Concordia College wrestling program. The team finished sixth out of 19 teams at the Upper Midwest Regional in 2023, had its first All-American since 2016 (Ty Bisek), and returns several consistent, committed, and determined wrestlers looking to make their mark with the Cobbers and across the DIII wrestling landscape.

Because of this, Osborn is looking forward to another exciting season of Concordia College wrestling.
