NDSU Announces 2023-24 Schedule

FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State wrestling and head coach Obenson Blanc has announced the full 2023-24 schedule, which features six home duals and the Bison Open.

The Bison are scheduled to open up the 2023-24 season on Saturday, November 4, as NDSU welcomes Nebraska to Fargo for the first time since 2011. The dual is set for a 2 p.m. start inside the Scheels Center.

NDSU will host the 52nd Annual Bison Open at the Scheels Center on November 11 before hitting the road for the first time and opening up the Big 12 schedule at Oklahoma on Sunday, November 19.

The Bison will wrap up the home schedule for the fall on December 2, welcoming in ACC foe Virginia for a 7 p.m. dual at the Scheels Center. It will be Virginia’s second-ever trip to Fargo after coming in 2015. The Herd will then travel to Minneapolis for a dual against Minnesota on Sunday, December 10 at 1 p.m.

North Dakota State will close out the fall on December 19, wrestling in the Fighting Camel Duals, hosted by Campbell University in North Carolina. The Bison will have three duals on the day, taking on Stanford, Campbell, and Purdue.

The Southern Scuffle will again open up the new year for the Bison as NDSU travels to Chattanooga, Tennessee, for the January 1-2 event. The Bison will face Oregon State in a neutral site dual on January 13 in Las Vegas to wrap up the non-conference schedule.

NDSU will jump back into Big 12 competition with three straight duals at home. The Bison will host Cal Baptist on January 20, Northern Colorado on January 21, and Air Force on January 28.

Following the home stretch, North Dakota State will travel west to Utah Valley on February 2 before taking on Wyoming in Laramie on February 4.

The Bison are set to wrap up the home schedule on Friday, February 16, with a 7 p.m. dual against Missouri before closing out the regular season in Brookings at South Dakota State on February 25.

The Big 12 Championships are slated for March 9-10 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with the NCAA Championships set for March 21-23 in Kansas City, Missouri.
