Skylar Little Soldier of Hastings has committed to wrestling for the new Grand Valley State University Program following her upcoming senior season.
Little Soldier is a two-time MSHSL state champion. She won the 145-pound title in 2023 as a junior and the 132-pound title in 2022 as a sophomore.
Little Soldier is a five-time Fargo All-American. As a USA Wrestling Junior, she was a runner-up in 2022; she placed fourth in 2021 and fifth in 2023. At the 16U level, Little Soldier was a National Champion in 2022 and in 2021.
Soldier is projected to wrestle at 143 or 155 pounds for the Lakers.
