Costanzo adds seven wrestlers from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois for 2024-25
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Wrestling head coach Steve Costanzo announced the addition of seven new student-wrestlers to the Huskies wrestling team roster for 2024-25.
The signees, who plan to enroll at SCSU next fall include:
- Vance Barz, Sauk Rapids, Minn.
- Mason Carpenter, Oshkosh, Wis.
- Leo Edblad, Cambridge, Minn.
- Austin Grzywinski, West St. Paul, Minn.
- Brody Hart, Neenah, Wis.
- Jayce Luna, Bettendorf, Iowa
- Hunter Robbins, Canton, Ill.
“We look forward to bringing in these fine student-athletes to the Huskies wrestling program,” Costanzo said. “These young men are all outstanding students in the classroom and have a lot of potential on the mat. We look forward to helping these individuals reach their full potential.”

“Mason is a relentless competitor and attacker on the mat,” said Costanzo. “An excellent leader on the mat and in the classroom, Carpenter is one of two student body representatives for his school. It is great to find student-wrestlers with real leadership skills. We are looking forward to working with him.”

When you combine those qualities, you will find a very successful college wrestler. We are very excited for his future with us at St. Cloud State.”

Not only is he a great wrestler, but he is also an outstanding student and individual. We think he is going to grow into an outstanding college wrestler for the Huskies.”

“Jayce is an outstanding addition to Huskies Wrestling,” said Costanzo. “This guy can flat-out wrestle. An extreme competitor as he competes year-round in the sport, he is very difficult to score on and has an array of attacks to go with his defense. We think he will be an earlier contributor for the Huskies during his career.”
