Augsburg Leads Both Polls Heading into the the New Year and National Duals

Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Released the final Coaches Polls of 2023 ahead of the NCWA/USMC National Duals. Augsburg continues to lead both the Tournament and Dual rankings.

In the tournament team poll, the top five are comprised of #1 Augsburg (82.5), #2 Warburg (53.5), #3 Baldwin Wallace (51.5), #4 UW La Crosse (46.5), and #5 Alvernia (34) up from 9th place.

There are no changes in the dual poll from the last poll #1 Augsburg (2-0), #2 Wartburg (3-0), #3 UW La Crosse (6-0), #4 North Central (4-0), and #5 Baldwin Wallace (2-0)

Augsburg, Baldwin Wallace, and Wartburg each have two top-ranked wrestlers, while Johnson and Wales, Ohio Northern Baldwin Wallace, UW-La Crosse, and Alvernia each have a single top-ranked individual.
