Huskies Ink State Champion Burnett

St. Cloud, Minn. ~ St. Cloud State Huskies Wrestling Head Coach, Steve Costanzo announced the addition of stand-out student-wrestler, Hudson Burnett (Pipestone Area High School), Pipestone, MN. Burnett is the eighth individual to commit to Huskies Wrestling for the 2024-25 campaign.

“Hudson is another great addition to the Huskies Wrestling program,” said Coach Steve Costanzo. “He has endured some serious adversities while in high school, but has worked hard to push through them. I feel it is that type of character that will make him a champion in life and in the sport of wrestling. We are very fortunate to get Hudson into our program.”

The Huskies began the season ranked No. 4 in the NWCA Coaches Poll, while six wrestlers were ranked in the top-12, led by Novak at No. 1 at 157 pounds. Anthony Herrera (165 pounds) and Dominic Murphy (197 pounds) checked in at No. 4 in their respective weight classes, while Colby Njos rakned at No. 7 in 149 pounds. At 133 pounds, Caleb Meekins checks in at No. 9 while  Alyeus Craig  ranked at No. 12 at 141 pounds.
