DICKINSON, N.D. — MSU Moorhead sent a trio of wrestlers to the annual Tyler Plummer Classic in Dickinson, N.D., on Saturday. The Dragons fielded one unattached champion, 125-pounder Clayson Mele.

Mele would earn the tournament victory with four consecutive victories as Mele opened the morning with a decision victory over Mary’s Isaac Stewart. Mele racked up 18 points in the match to begin the day. The 125-pounder would go on to earn a pinfall at 2:34 in the second round against Mary’s Austin Berry.
