MINNEAPOLIS — Four Augsburg University wrestlers who combined dominant seasons on the mat with elite performance in the classroom headlined a group of six Auggies named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men’s At-Large Team, the organization announced.
Seniors Cole Becker and Brandt Bombard earned the academic distinction for the second consecutive year, while sophomores Matthew Randolph and Ethan Winkelman secured their first career selections. Men’s hockey players Peyton Hanson and Zachary Reim were also honored, rounding out Augsburg’s maximum allotment of six nominees.
