Albert Lea Wrestler Wins State

(ABC 6 News) — The Minnesota State High School Wrestling Championships wrapped up this weekend, with six area wrestlers taking home titles. But there’s one wrestler from Albert Lea who took home an unexpected title.

Komet wrestlers reflect on state titles

(ABC 6 NEWS) — Broc Berge was nervous Saturday.

Not because he was wrestling for a state title, but because his little brother was, too.

“I was more nervous for (Brady) and Coltan (Laganiere) than I was for myself, because I’ve been there before. I know what it’s like,” Broc said. “Having my brother go out there and win it right away, that really gave me confidence and relaxed my nerves.” View/Continue reading at

Minnesota Finishes Second at Big Ten Championships

Nine Gophers Qualify for NCAA’s

The Minnesota Golden Gopher wrestling team wrapped up the 2012 Big Ten Wrestling Championships this afternoon in West Lafayette, Ind. Minnesota finished second overall in the team standings with 134 points, behind champion Penn State who won the team title for the second consecutive year, with 149 points.
