Former Olympic Brandon Paulson goes from wrestling mat to mentoring

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — The Road to London begins in what might look like an industrial park warehouse in Shoreview. But the PINnacle is anything but. It is a wrestling dream factory.

“I know a lot of coaches don’t want kids to dream because they’re scared of failure. I totally disagree,” explained Brandon Paulson, a former Olympian, “I want kids to dream. Ness, Storley and Nelson Still Alive at NCAA Championships

Three move onto the semifinals; Gophers sit in fourth place

Three Golden Gopher wrestlers have moved onto the semifinals of the 2012 NCAA Wrestling Championships, in St. Louis Mo. Dylan Ness (149), Logan Storley (174) and Tony Nelson (Hwt.) will all wrestle in tonight’s semifinal inside the Scottrade Center at 6 p.m.

Minnesota currently is in fourth place with 56 points. Penn State leads the field with 78.5 points, while Cornell jumped to second with 61.5 and Iowa sits in third  58.5. Continue reading
