Fredy Stroker entered Saturday’s InterMat JJ Classic on ranked among the nation’s top 20 freshmen before ever donning a high school wrestling singlet.
The 15-year-old Stroker, who attends Bettendorf High School in Iowa, showed why he is so highly regarded by defeating three state placewinners, including a Cadet National finalist and a two-time state champion, en route to capturing the JJ Classic title at 113 pounds. SCSU Youth Wrestling Clinic Set for Oct. 29
St. Cloud State University will offer its 2011 Fall Wrestling Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 29 in the University’s Halenbeck Hall Fieldhouse. This clinic is open to all youth wrestlers from grades K-12, and it will feature a special appearance by guest clinician 2011 NCAA Division II champion John Sundgren.
