STILLWATER, Okla. — The National Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum has selected its 2012 state and regional winners of the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award. The award is part of the Hall of Fame’s Educational Outreach Program. Forty-nine seniors from those states that sponsor high school state wrestling championships have been chosen for the honor. College Recruiting: 2-time champ Lexvold of Kenyon-Wanamingo (1st-1st-2nd-DNP-6th) to UW-La Crosse

Lexvold is a two-time state champion, a three-time finalist, and a four-time placewinner. He won the 120-pound Class A title this year and the 119-pound title as a junior. Mitchel also placed second at 112 pounds as a sophomore and 6th at 103 pounds as an eighth grader.
