DII/DIII National Duals Preview

For the first time in National Duals history Wartburg and Augsburg will not meet for the Division III championship.

Either Wartburg or Augsburg has won the NWCA National Duals title at the D-III level since its inception in 2002. However, the rivals are seeded one and four, respectively, this weekend when competition hits the mats inside the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield, Ill. Apollo senior hopes to be state-ranked for tournament

Matt Braun is really, really looking forward to Friday.

Not that St. Cloud Apollo’s wrestling match tonight at Holdingford doesn’t interest him. That’s fun. So will be the the 20th Annual Jim Kiffmeyer Duals at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Cloud Tech.
