Monk Drops Semifinal Contest to Top Seeded David Taylor, Will Wrestle in Medal Round

OKLAHOMA CITY – North Dakota State senior 165-pounder Steven Monk had his 29-match winning streak snapped in the semifinals of the NCAA Championships Friday evening, March 21, inside Chesapeake Energy Arena, dropping a 13-5 major decision to undefeated and No. 1 seeded David Taylor (33-0) of Penn State.
