MOORHEAD, Minn. — Former Concordia wrestling standout Benjamin Bogart (Alexandria, Minn.) received CoSIDA Academic All-American honors. Bogart was selected to the Division III CoSIDA Academic All-American Second Team in the team “at-large” category.
Bogart becomes the first Cobber student-athlete to earn CoSIDA Academic All-American honors since Matthew Lilllehaugen earned the award in track and field in 2017. He is only the second Concordia wrestler to receive the honor. Adam Presler was named CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2017.
Bogart was one of only three student-athletes from the MIAC to receive Academic All-American honors in the “at-large” category – and one of only six wrestlers in all of Division III to receive the award.
