2020 MWCA Fall Clinic Will Be A Virtual Conference

Due to the uncertainty around Covid-19 and crowd sizes, the Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Association Advisory Committee has decided to make the 2020 Fall Clinic on Saturday, October 31st a Virtual Conference.

The MWCA will be collaborating with Coaches Insider to provide a collection of live and recorded sessions throughout the day on the 31st. The cost for MWCA Members will be $5. Non-members will pay $40 and receive a 2020-2021 MWCA Membership.

Details about the clinic schedule and registration links will come out shortly.

Minnesota Wrestling Officials Clinic – October 26th at Simley HS

The Annual Wrestling Officials’ Clinic will be held on October 26th at Simley High School – 2920 80th Street East, Inver Grove Heights.

The clinic will be held in conjunction with the Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Association Clinic.

This clinic provides an excellent opportunity to meet and discuss wrestling officiating with officials throughout the state. If you are looking to join an association, there will be representatives there to talk to.

University of Minnesota Coaches Clinic set for October 25th

Headlining wrestling clinicians include Brandon Paulson, Sean Russell, and Pat Smith

The University of Minnesota wrestling team, led by Brandon Eggum and his staff, will once again host a coaches clinic this fall. The event will take place on Friday, October 25, 2019, at the Bierman Field Athletic Building in Minneapolis, Minn (516 15th Ave SE). The clinic offers professional instruction on the fundamentals and techniques of coaching wrestling and is open to all interested participants and fans of the sport.

SCSU to offer Fall Clinic on Oct. 26

The four-time NCAA DII national champion St. Cloud State University wrestling team will offer the 2019 SCSU Fall Wrestling Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 26. The clinic is open to all individuals in grades K-12 and it will be held in the Halenbeck Hall Fieldhouse. The clinic will begin with check-in between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

This year’s guest clinician is two-time NCAA DII finalist Vince Dietz, who earned All-America honors twice for St. Cloud State University during his collegiate career. Dietz currently serves as a student assistant coach for the Huskies this season.

MWCA Fall Clinic set for October 27th in Inver Grove Heights

The 2018 Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Association Fall Clinic will feature University of Minnesota Coach Brandon Eggum, South Dakota State Coach Damion Hahn, and Orlando Ponce. The Clinic will take place on Saturday, October 27th at Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights.
