AWN Duals of the Week: Iowa at Minnesota

It is border battle time with the University of Minnesota and the University of Iowa. This dual never fails to provide fans with a ton of excitement. There is no love lost between these two teams and often the dual can get heated. This one is packed full of interesting match-ups and should not let the fans down.

In this dual, 17 or the 20 wrestlers are ranked by Amateur Wrestling News . Both teams have lost a dual to No. 2 Oklahoma State this year. Gophers’ heaviest wrestlers are worth the wait

The Gophers wrestling team trailed Illinois 14-6 heading into the final four weight classes in Monday’s dual. In other words, Minnesota had the Illini just where it wanted them. NCAA Releases Division I Wrestling Coaches’ Panel Rankings
