Northland adds Sam Umlauf to wrestling staff

Northland Community & Technical College head wrestling coach Scott DCamp announced this week that the college has hired Sam Umlauf as the team’s assistant wrestling coach.

Umlauf was a four-time state qualifier and two-time state placewinner for Wausau West High School in Wausau, Wis. He placed third at 125 pounds in 2008 and in 2009, he won a state championship while tying Wisconsin’s season-wins record with 54. Continue reading

Northland Community & Technical College announces first ever recruiting class

Northland Community & Technical College Head Wrestling Coach Scott DCamp has announced that 10 student athletes have committed to compete for Northland during the 2013-14 school year.

Northland CTC is a new NJCAA wrestling program located in Thief River Falls, Minn. The Pioneers will begin competition next season. Continue reading

Northland Community & Technical College Campus Dean, Steve Crittenden announced today that Scott DCamp has accepted the position of head men’s wrestling coach at Northland. Crittenden stated, “Scott’s experience and connections in our region will be a great benefit to our college.
