Gophers Single Match Tickets on Sale as Dual Times Finalized

Single match tickets for the 2019-20 Gopher wrestling season are now on sale with match times and television information finalized for this year’s schedule.

Fans can buy tickets online at GopherSports.com or by calling the Gophers ticket office at 1-800-U-GOPHER. For a direct link to tickets, check HERE.

The Gophers will have three home duals televised on major networks this season. First up the Gophers will appear on Big Ten Network against Wisconsin on Jan. 10 and Penn State on Feb. 9. Then, in the team’s final dual before the postseason, the Maroon and Gold welcome Nebraska on Feb. 21 for a dual televised on ESPNU.

Oles unveil 2019-20 schedule

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Fifteenth-year head coach Sean Ahrar and the St. Olaf College wrestling team officially unveiled the team’s 2019-20 schedule on Friday with the team’s season opener less than a month away.

The schedule includes five duals and five tournaments, beginning on Saturday, Nov. 2 with a trip to the Yellow Jacket Open in Rochester, Minn. After that, the Oles will compete at the Auggie-Adidas Invitational three weeks later at Augsburg’s Si Melby Hall.

St. Olaf starts December at the MSOE Invitational in Milwaukee, Wis. on Saturday, Dec. 7 before hosting Waldorf in its first dual of the season on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. at Skoglund Center.

Vikings Announce Dual With Arizona State on Nov. 15

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Augustana wrestling team will be heading down to sunny Tempe, Arizona, on Nov. 15 for a dual with the Sun Devils of Arizona State, head coach Jason Reitmeier announced this morning.

ASU finished second in the Pac-12 Championship last season and also finished in 12th place at the NCAA Division I Championship. Reitmeier is very excited for the opportunity against a strong Division I program.

“First of all, I would like to thank ASU and their coaching staff for inviting us down to compete against them,” Reitmeier said. “This is a great opportunity and experience for our young men to compete against one of the best D1 programs in the nation.

St. Cloud State to face challenging schedule in 2019-20

St. Cloud State University Wrestling enters its 71st year of collegiate wrestling and its 2019-20 schedule will be highlighted by six home dual matches for the Huskies.

The list of home matches includes the annual Black/Red Classic (Nov. 1), Southwest Minnesota State (Nov. 20), Western State College (Jan. 5), MSU – Moorhead at Pierz H.S. (Jan. 30), Upper Iowa (Feb. 13) and Augustana (Feb. 19). Tickets for all home matches this season are available at www.scsutickets.com or you can purchase them at the gate on match days. All SCSU student get into all regular-season home matches at Halenbeck Hall for FREE.

The Huskies will start their 2019-20 non-conference dual schedule by heading to the Northeast Duals in Troy, NY (Nov. 9) as they will face American International, Pittsburg-Johnstown and Johnson & Wales. The Open season will get underway at the Finn Grinaker Open on Nov. 16 followed by the Dragon Open on Dec. 8. SCSU closes out their first semester as they travel to Northern State (Dec. 13) for a dual meet.

Gophers Announce 2019-20 Schedule

With the Big Ten Conference’s announcement of conference schedules on Wednesday morning, the Gopher wrestling program now has a clear picture of their 2019-20 schedule that includes the five top teams from the NCAA Championships.

Those five teams, in order of finish, are Penn State, Ohio State, Iowa, Michigan, and Oklahoma State.

The Gophers season officially kicks off with a dual against Cal State Bakersfield on Nov. 1 with another home dual against Rider only two weeks later. Last season the Gophers were set to take on Rider in a special dual at Northrop Auditorium before the match was canceled due to inclement weather. The location for the Rider dual is not yet confirmed.

Nine Home Dates including 49th Bison Open Highlight 2019-20 NDSU Schedule

FARGO, N.D. – Nine home dates with eight dual matches including Purdue, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and Stanford highlight the North Dakota State University 2019-20 wrestling schedule in the Scheels Center at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.

Season tickets for wrestling go on sale Oct. 1, single-dual tickets are available on Oct. 15. More information is available at GoBison.com.

The challenging schedule for NDSU and head coach Roger Kish starts with a pair of non-conference home duals against Cal State Bakersfield at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, and the Big Ten’s Purdue University at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17. The 49th annual Bison Open is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in the Scheels Center at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.

The Bison Open is one of four regular-season tournaments. NDSU will send athletes to compete at Daktronics Open in Brookings, S.D., on Nov. 17, the prestigious Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational on Dec. 6-7, and the South Beach Duals on Dec. 29-30, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Jacks face challenging 2019-20 schedule

Eight home competitions and a pair of high-level tournaments highlight the 2019-20 schedule for the South Dakota State University wrestling team.

“I really like the schedule we’ve been able to put together for this season,” said second-year head coach Damion Hahn. “It has a good mix of traditional rivals while further exposing our guys to more elite-level competition throughout the year, which should prepare us come postseason time in March.”

The season kicks off Nov. 9 at the Bison Open in Fargo, North Dakota, followed by a Nov. 15 dual against Binghamton. An announcement of the time and location for the Binghamton dual will be made at a later date.
