NCAA Update on COVID-19 and the NCAA DII and DIII Wrestling Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA continues to assess the impact of COVID-19 in consultation with public health officials and the NCAA COVID-19 advisory panel. Based on their advice and NCAA President Mark Emmert’s discussions with the NCAA Board of Governors, the decision has been made to conduct upcoming championship events with only essential staff and limited family attendance.

This includes the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and the Division III Wrestling Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday and Saturday.

Both tournaments will be streamed live on ncaa.com.

MCAC Wrestling Programs Head to National Tournament This Weekend

Winona, MN — The Minnesota College Athletic Conference wrestling season concluded recently with the 2019-20 North District Tournament, hosted by Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. At the event, several student-athletes earned their way to the 2019-20 NJCAA Wrestling National Championships, to be held at the Mid-America Center, Council Bluffs, Iowa on March 6-7.
