Utility for Creating Matchups

I have noticed that a lot of times, JV matchups take a long time to get done after weigh-ins, delaying start times at some events.

I thought it might be helpful to have a simple app for creating matchups.  Yes, I know most schools use FLO, USA Wrestling, etc. but I thought that may be overkill for a dual/tri/quad scenario.

So, I created a matchup generator.  It’s available on Github, along with a basic user guide, for free.  Have a look.  It’s just an HTML form, and accepts both manual and text file (roster) inputs.  I also added a utility to create the initial roster to use as input for the matchup tool.

I don’t plan to spend a lot of time developing this unless it gets used!  I hope you find it helpful.
